The work is a replication of a ritual where prayer is put in a glass jar full of water to dissolve over a period of time. Later it is buried into the soil nearby of the house to protect a person or the household from bad demons, fears, or anything that has a negative connotation. In the work instead of dissolving the prayer, I put them inside the resin. With this, I was able to freeze them. As Ömer Uğurluoğlu stated: “The epoxy sculptures created with the belief of protection hoped to spread to the future, the present and the whole of life, and their efforts to exist in contrasts bring to mind the question "What is left for us, from us?"

Eser, su dolu bir cam kavanoza konulan duanın belli bir süre içinde erimesi için yapılan bir ritüelin tekrarıdır. Daha sonra bir kişiyi veya haneyi kötü şeytanlardan, korkulardan veya olumsuz çağrışım yapan herhangi bir şeyden korumak için evin yakınındaki bir toprağa gömülür. Çalışmada duayı eritmek yerine reçinenin içine koydum. Bu sayede onları dondurmayı başardım. Ömer Uğurluoğlu’nun da söylediği gibi: “Ayetler içerisinde epoksi ile oluşturulmuş heykellerin geleceğe, şu ana ve hayatın tamamına yayılmaya umut edilmiş koruma inancıyla, tezatlıklar içerisinde var olma çabalarıyla akla şu soruyu getirmektedir” bizden,bize geriye ne kalıyor?”
